Set-up
A firm quote will be given for account setup in advance, once the portfolio details are delivered.
The charge is normally $280, provided that you can present us with a good electronic record (e.g. Excel) of acquisition dates and costs of securities currently held or disposed of in the current tax year.
Where reconstruction of past events is needed, it may be more expensive.
Annual charge
There are two components:
- An access fee of $360 for each portfolio required, and
- An administration fee that applies regardless of the number of portfolios. However this varies according to the amount of manual attention we estimate will be needed. Up to 24 hours per year is provided for a base fee of $588. A reference rate of $50 per hour is used to calculate a firm quote where more hours are likely to be required.
International charge
A further fee of $240 per year applies to portfolios, which includes international listed securities.
Note that there are no asset-based fees. The only charges are flat rates for access to the system and low, hourly-based charges for administration.
Pricing examples
This example is of passive portfolio(s) requiring less than two hours per month of manual data entry.
This is for more active portfolio(s) requiring up to two-and-a-half hours per month of manual data entry.
